L,S-Shaped: Generally L-Shape, Concentric tube type Pitot tube with curved joint and ellipsoidal nose are used for clear Air / Gas & is most widely used pitot tube. Calibrated pitot tubes with coefficient: Pitot tubes can be supplied with coefficient calibration reports from Indian institute of technology, Powai at extra cost.
Standard length pitot tubes: Generally standard length pitot tubes are available ex-stock with or without calibration reports & can be immediate.

S Shape Pitot Tube
Recommended specifically for flow / velocity measurement of dirty, particulate laden air or gas streams. Typical in environmental testing, large I.D. (1/4" or more) tubing resists chocking under harsh, sooty conditions. Again tube can be cleaned easily by passing air or water through it. Total & static pressure tubes are precisely aligned & arc welded together at every six inch, for maximum accuracy, strength and durability. 1/4" BSP (F) connections easily adapt to any type of pipe or tubing. Permanent engraved insertion depth graduation (optional) facilitates accurate positioning.

In industry where in, the velocities being measured are often those flowing in ducts and tubing where measurements by an anemometer would be difficult to obtain. In these kinds of measurements, the most practical instrument to use is the Sunflow pitot tube. The pitot tube can be inserted through a small hole in the duct with the pitot connected to a Sunflow U-tube water gauge or Sunflow Inclined tube manometer or Sunflow digital manometer or differential pressure gauge for determining the velocity inside the ducted wind tunnel.
